Our Pastor's Profile
Pastor Bernard Owiredu-Kumi was ordained as a pastor in 2016 and has since served faithfully in various capacities of ministry, including prayer, music, and foreign missions. His heart for ministry is deeply rooted in a passion for touching lives and advancing God’s kingdom.
On May 21, 2023, Pastor Bernard received a prophetic prayer of release from Rev. Eastwood Anaba, declaring a divine impartation of grace and anointing for expansion and impact. This moment marked a turning point in his ministry, as the prayer declared,
“The same anointing and grace in the foundation will be upon you. With the prophetic unction, may you cause rivers to flow in the desert. And when you go on this journey, we pray in the name of Jesus, you will not speak impossibility, you will speak possibility. May your spirit be refreshed as you refresh the people. Receive grace, be a prophet, be a teacher, be a pastor. Touch people’s lives, and may God’s name be glorified in your life. Everlasting Messiah, let this be the day of expansion, Amen.”

Pastor Bernard & Lady Monica Owiredu-Kumi
Following this prophetic charge, Pastor Bernard, together with a dedicated five-member team, led the preparations for the inaugural service of Kingdom Pastures. This historic service took place on October 1, 2023, establishing Fountain Gate Chapel – Kingdom Pastures in Linthicum Heights, Maryland.
Pastor Bernard currently serves as the head pastor of this mission-hearted and people-oriented church. He is a preacher, teacher, and musician with a strong passion for prayer. He holds the philosophy that “people is ministry” and seeks to reflect this belief in all aspects of his work. A graduate of the Pneuma Institute of Eastwood Anaba Ministries, he also serves as the regional coordinator of the Mashach Men’s Ministry for the North America Region of Fountain Gate Chapel.
He is joyfully married to Monica Owiredu-Kumi, and together they serve as chief servants of Kingdom Pastures. They reside in Brooklyn, Maryland, where they continue to serve God and His people with dedication and love.
